His Sufficient Grace is dedicated to reaching out to hurting family members to provide education, support and skills to not only survive this difficult journey with our prodigal loved ones, but also to learn how to thrive knowing His grace is sufficient.
Our Story
In the fall of 2018, over some online correspondence, four mothers of prodigal children came together with a desire to connect with fellow hurting parents to provide an opportunity to find respite in the middle of their storms. Working collaboratively as individuals and through connections with our local ministries, we strive to provide weekends where fellow warrior parents can lay down their daily battle armor, wrap themselves in God’s strength, and find rest and a rejuvenation in their spiritual armor of God.
RETREAT
We are hosting our third Women’s Respite Retreat at Lakeview Camp and Retreat Center in Waxahachie, Texas. Entitled “His Sufficient Grace: Heartfelt Hope”, we look to welcome women who are caregivers, women who have experienced loss and pain, women who have struggled with relationship difficulties and women who desire to experience the “even if” in their lives.
As we all know, on an airplane we are instructed to “put on our oxygen masks first” before taking care of anyone else, so this retreat will allow women to be poured into so that they can find rest, time to recover from the demands of their family struggle, to refocus on themselves in order to continue pouring out for their loved ones and they can laugh again!
